Morten Andersen lasted that long, as Carney pointed out when he re-signed with the New Orleans Saints in August. For now, though, Carney will have to make the best of his second Super Bowl in a coaching role.

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — Louisiana Democrats want Republican Gov. Bobby Jindal to get into the “Who Dat” fray with the NFL. The Democrats’ governing body Saturday called on Jindal to defend the rights of Louisiana citizens to use the term “Who Dat” and the New Orleans Saints’ fleur-de-lis symbol.
